Sea Run Brook Trout Research

If you wish to know what kind of projects we are raising money to support, please enjoy the following links.

It all starts and ends with PIT tagging.  Check out our PIT Tagging Gallery here.

In the summer of 2015, we were the recipients of hundreds of hours of interns from the Patagonia Boston store.  This is but one of the videos made by those interns showing some of the basics of PIT tagging.

SRBTC in conjunction with project partner Mass Wildlife, helps to maintain seven solar-powered PIT tagging stations on unique coastal access streams in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Presently, there are two each on the Quashnet and Childs Rivers, and three on Red Brook.

We’ll build this page out more over time to cover our work doing stream temperature monitoring, our Fishing For Science and Conservation sampling and microchemistry project, and various other projects we’re focusing on.
